English Online (EO) will be among the main exhibitors at the Career, Education & Settlement Immigrant Fair on May 30, 2016, 10 am to 4:30 pm at the Radisson Winnipeg Downtown (288 Portage Avenue). This one-of-a-kind expo will feature speakers’ workshops, exhibitors’ booths, a resume clinic, and many other activities tailor-fitted to meet the needs of newcomers to Canada.
EO will feature many of its free services designed to assist and equip immigrants with the right information and skills for living, working, and learning in Manitoba. It will promote its flexible learning options, such as Virtual Coffee Chats, Canadian Idioms, English Exercises, LINC Home Study, as well as its open resources such as settlement articles and iEnglish Activities that are available online 24/7 at the Live & Learn site (livelearn.ca). EO will also showcase its volunteer services which enable newcomers and pre-arrivals to learn about settling and working in Manitoba (directly from a Manitoban), or learn English from an accredited English instructor at their own time and pace. All these personalized services are free for all Manitoban newcomers and refugees. Interested parties may directly register with EO at the English Online booth.
