EO expands services with Live & Learn plus

Starting September 2019, English Online will be accepting more new Manitoban newcomers with the launch of Live&Learn Plus. Aside from Permanent Residents who are in MB, the following categories of newcomers currently residing in Manitoba can now register for Live&Learn:

  • Temporary foreign workers and their spouse (married or common law) or adult dependents (children 18 to 23 years old)
  • Spouse or adult dependents of a study permit holder
  • Refugee claimants
  • Canadian born citizens who present as newcomers

Eligible clients can take advantage of 400 articles about living in Manitoba and learning English. Students benefit from not having to commute to drop-in English classes held morning, afternoon and evening! Those who wish to learn with a group can join a discussion class, for example a Coffee Chat, and improve their fluency. Or they can join a class focused on language development, for example Lunch & Learn. Meanwhile, those who prefer to study alone can complete English activities and exercises using all four language skills. Classes are for language levels CLB 3 and up. All services are free for eligible clients.
