English Online (EO) staff attended a half- day seminar on Sexuality, Diversity and Inclusion for Service Providers at the EO office downtown. Jared Star, Sexuality and Reproductive Health facilitator of Sexuality Education Resource Centre (SERC) MB (3rd from left), facilitated a discussion on cultural and social definitions of sexuality; the differences between the often confused terms sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation; diversity in human sexuality, and issues relating to privilege and power. The workshop concluded with practice approaches and tips to help make EO services and operations more inclusive and supportive to diverse sexual and gender identities and experiences.
